Abstract

Against the backdrop of growing global attention to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainable development, ESG performance has become an important benchmark for measuring how enterprises fulfill their social responsibilities and achieve long-term value. Using Haier Smart Home as a case study, this paper examines the company's practices across the three dimensions of Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG). The analysis reveals that actively engaging in corporate social responsibility can enhance a company's image and brand value, attract more investors and top talent, while implementing an ESG strategy can foster green innovation initiatives, thereby strengthening the enterprise's sustainable development capabilities. This study highlights the pivotal guiding role of business ethics in the process of corporate social responsibility practice. The findings presented in this paper can serve as a valuable reference and inspiration for other manufacturing enterprises seeking to enhance their CSR efforts.
