Under the framework of the rural revitalization strategy and the goal of common prosperity, enhancing farmers' income has become one of the core tasks in China's rural economic development. Traditional finance in rural areas has long faced challenges such as inadequate financial service coverage, high financing costs, and credit exclusion, which hinder both income growth for farmers and industrial upgrading. With the widespread application of digital technologies, digital inclusive finance offers new pathways and opportunities to address insufficient financial supply in rural areas and alleviate farmers' financing difficulties. Based on panel data from various provinces across China, this study employs an intermediary effect model to systematically analyze the direct and indirect mechanisms through which digital inclusive finance impacts rural residents' income. Empirical results demonstrate that the development of digital inclusive finance significantly boosts farmers' income levels. Meanwhile, industrial structure upgrading plays a partial mediating role in this process, serving as another key pathway for income enhancement. This research expands the understanding of digital inclusive finance operational mechanisms, enriches the theoretical framework for rural income improvement strategies, and provides crucial theoretical foundations and practical references for refining development policies, consolidating poverty alleviation achievements, preventing rural income decline, and achieving the objectives of rural revitalization.
